Had our first ever training session with our 2 year old lab this morning, and I can’t believe the benefits we see already. Emily is an amazing dog trainer and I feel so grateful that we’ve had the opportunity to learn so much from her, and can’t wait to practice everything she’s taught us! Her experience an knowledge of breeds is shown clearly in her methods, and the way she explains her methods in general terms makes it so much easier to follow and understand. I loved the way she explained everything from the dogs point of view- why certain things would create a certain reaction, and how to adapt/change in order to get the response we as owners wish for. I can’t recommend Emily enough, and already looking forward to joining her dog socials.

In short, I wish we could have stayed the entire day! To say I was buzzing when I left from my 1-2-1 session would be an humongous understatement. Em is a complete marvel and has given me so much confidence in moving forward with my training with my one year old black Labrador Monty…who incidentally and unsurprisingly fell in love with Em’s black lab ‘Girl’ who also joined our session and was a fantastic aid in helping with Monty’s training. I am just so thrilled to have found Em and had the chance to get a 1-2-1 session in now to give me the tools to move forward and continue building on Monty’s training before we join the Group Walks and Social Sessions. I simply couldn’t recommend or praise Max Canine more highly. Thank you Em, Mike, and of course Girl. Monty & I can’t wait to see you again soon!

“I had my first 1-2-1 session with Emily today and couldn’t be happier. My partner and I are first time dog owners of our now 8 month old Shetland Sheepdog Obi. He is extremely overexcited and interested in the world around him, and loses his mind whenever he sees another dog – lunging and barking like crazy. It is at the point where I dread taking him anywhere because it is so embarrassing and stressful for both me and him. Already after 1 session I feel like a weight has been lifted.
